Morgan
the Wonder Cat
Morgan Milford Miller is the newest member of the Miller
family. We adopted her from SPIN (Stray Pets In Need) at Pet World,
Natick on October 4th, 1997. Morgan definitely was a pet in need,
a stray who had strayed into an illegal leg-hold trap in Milford,
Massachusetts a month before.

NEADS
NEADS trains Hearing Dogs for people who are deaf and Service Dogs
for people with physical disabilities.(It is the oldest continuing
Hearing Dog program in the country.) Almost 100% of our Hearing
Dogs are rescued from local animal shelters. Our Service Dogs are
donated as puppies by generous breeders. They are fostered in homes
by loving families until they are a year and a half old. Unfortunately,
sometimes these puppies do not make it in our Service Dog training.
This may either be due to a medical or a behavioral problem. These
"Fabulous Flunkouts" are then placed in carefully screened
homes.
